Empowering Product Matrix, Jointly Exploring New Market Opportunities – The Company's Management Team Visits Glass Deep-processing Enterprises to Deepen Industrial Cooperation

Dec 09, 2025
To actively respond to the market's diversified demand for high-quality, multi-functional glass products and seize development opportunities in emerging fields such as green low-carbon and intelligent buildings, the company recently organized a special visiting team consisting of core departments including technical R&D, market expansion, and production management to conduct intensive visits to several industry-leading glass deep-processing enterprises such as CSG Holding Group and Xinyi Glass in Zhejiang, Jiangsu and other places. With the goals of "benchmarking against advanced enterprises, integrating resources, filling shortcomings, and jointly exploring new prospects", this visit accurately grasped the industry's technological innovation trends and market demand orientation through various forms such as on-site inspections of production bases, in-depth exchanges at R&D centers, and cooperation negotiations. A number of high-value-added products such as smart dimming glass, building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) module glass, and composite fire-resistant glass have been incorporated into the company's product matrix, injecting strong new momentum into the enterprise's high-quality development.
The visiting team first focused on the smart dimming glass field, which is in high market demand, and visited the smart glass production base and R&D center of CSG Holding Group in Suzhou. In the production workshop, the team observed in detail the core production process of electrochromic glass, from glass substrate cleaning, film sputtering, electrode preparation to packaging and testing, and learned one by one the technical key points and quality control standards of key process links. Through technical exchanges, it was learned that the product adopts independently developed nano-level electrochromic film materials, and the core technology has obtained a number of national patents. Its response speed is only 0.3 seconds, enabling stepless adjustment from fully transparent (light transmittance 85%) to deep atomization (light transmittance 5%), and it has advantages such as UV protection and low power consumption. The visiting team conducted repeated tests on the product on-site to verify its stability under different voltage and temperature environments, and held in-depth discussions with the other party's technical team on customized development needs. Finally, a cooperation consensus was reached: the two parties will jointly develop personalized dimming glass products suitable for office partitions and high-end residences, optimize the film formula to improve product weather resistance, plan to complete product trial production in the first quarter of 2026, and formulate standardized installation processes and after-sales service systems simultaneously to ensure the product landing experience.
In the field of photovoltaic glass, the visiting team focused on inspecting the photovoltaic module glass production base of Xinyi Glass in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, which is one of the world's largest photovoltaic glass production bases. The team went deep into the production workshop to learn in detail the entire process of solar patterned glass, including raw material screening, melting and clarification, embossing forming, annealing and cooling, with a focus on key technical links such as embossing roller design and surface coating. According to actual measurements, the product has a light transmittance of ≥91.5%, an iron content of ≤150ppm, a bending strength of 150MPa, and a flatness error of ≤0.1mm/m. All performance indicators have reached the international advanced level, making it a core material for high-efficiency photovoltaic cell modules. Currently, driven by the global "dual carbon" goals, the photovoltaic industry is showing an explosive growth trend. As a core supporting material, photovoltaic glass has a market premium of up to 45% compared with conventional float glass, and the demand remains strong. Combining the company's advantages in the Southeast Asian market layout, the team reached a cooperation intention with Xinyi Glass and another enterprise specializing in high-efficiency photovoltaic glass, and will quickly enter the photovoltaic glass track by virtue of their mature production technology, stable supply chain and large-scale production advantages. The first batch of cooperative products will focus on supplying photovoltaic power station projects in Southeast Asian countries such as Vietnam and Thailand. In the future, the two parties will also jointly develop a new generation of photovoltaic glass with higher light transmittance (≥93%), stronger weather resistance and thinner thickness (2.0mm) to seize the high-end market share.
In response to the increasingly stringent requirements for fire safety in the construction industry, the visiting team specially visited a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D and production of fire-resistant glass in Changzhou, Jiangsu. At the enterprise's fire test center, the team observed the high-temperature fire resistance test of composite fire-resistant glass on-site: under the burning of 1000℃ flame, the product maintained integrity for 120 minutes without flame penetration or debris falling off, and could effectively block smoke diffusion. It is reported that the product adopts a composite structure of multi-layer special glass and high-performance fire-resistant adhesive layer, and forms a firm combination between glass and adhesive layer through special processes. Its fire resistance performance meets the national Class A standard, and the unit price is 3 times higher than that of traditional fire-resistant glass. Currently, with the rapid development of commercial complexes, high-rise buildings, rail transit and other fields, the market demand gap for high-quality fire-resistant glass continues to expand, with an annual growth rate of more than 25%. The visiting team reached a cooperation intention with the enterprise on technology introduction and joint production, planning to introduce its core production processes, combine with the advantages of the company's existing production bases, quickly realize the localized production of composite fire-resistant glass, fill the company's product gap in the field of fire-resistant glass, and further improve the architectural glass product system.
During the visit, the team also focused on the deep-processing innovation technology of Low-E glass, especially the technological breakthrough in the preparation of triple-silver Low-E film by online CVD method. At the R&D center of a leading enterprise in the industry, technical experts introduced the principle of the process in detail: through chemical vapor deposition technology, three layers of silver-based film systems and multiple layers of dielectric films are deposited on the surface of float glass, making the product's optical selection ratio (visible light transmittance/total solar energy rejection rate) increase to 2.15, far exceeding the average level of 1.8 of international similar products, and can effectively reduce building air-conditioning energy consumption by more than 30%. At present, the penetration rate of this product in newly built public buildings has reached 68%, and under the promotion of green building policies, the market potential is huge. The visiting team reached a preliminary intention with the other party on technology authorization and capacity cooperation, planning to introduce this advanced process, optimize the existing Low-E glass production line, launch higher-performance energy-saving glass products, and meet the market demand for green low-carbon building materials.
In addition, the visiting team also conducted exchanges with multiple enterprises on topics such as glass deep-processing equipment upgrading, environmental protection process optimization, and joint talent training, learning from the advanced experience and practices of advanced enterprises in intelligent manufacturing, green production, and supply chain management. The company's market director said: "This visit is a key measure for the company to implement the 'product diversification' strategy. By integrating high-quality industry resources, quickly filling product shortcomings, and enriching the product matrix, we will realize the transformation from a traditional glass product supplier to a comprehensive glass solution service provider. In the future, we will continue to strengthen in-depth cooperation with upstream and downstream enterprises, focus on the development direction of green low-carbon, intelligent and efficient, continuously expand the application fields of glass products, provide customers with more comprehensive and high-quality products and services, and jointly explore new market blue oceans with industry partners."
